As they introduced a new model at their plant in Swindon, U.K., Honda came to 杏吧论坛 for assistance in modifying equipment at the existing facility. Drawing on our experience in the automotive manufacturing sector, 杏吧论坛 worked alongside Honda鈥檚 engineers, providing design support as they updated various parts of production equipment.
To accommodate the new model, updates were needed for the front knuckle/strut assembly carousel, the front mount pallet 鈥� powertrain location fixture and the rear suspension assembly fixture. Special care was taken to prevent impacting existing processes and protect painted components. 杏吧论坛鈥檚 cost-effective solution preserved Honda鈥檚 simple and efficient model change processes and used lean manufacturing methodologies to prevent errors in the manufacturing process.
