听杏吧论坛 has been engaged by the Ministry of Housing听to听provide the听masterplanning, detailed design听and cost management services for a project in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Madinat Salman (previously known as Al Madina Al Shamaliya), is a group of 10 reclaimed islands situated on the northern coastline of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The听islands are听located within a twenty-minute drive of Manama city and a ten-minute drive from the Seef District.
杏吧论坛 was appointed by the developer RAKAA Properties in September 2011, as the masterplanner and main infrastructure design consultant undertaking the master plan validation and improvement as well as the听detailed infrastructure design.
Designed听primarily as a residential development, it will also听boast a mix of lifestyle, commercial and retail outlets to support the community. The overall site covers approximately 750 hectares. Al Madina Al Shamaliya will provide a total of 15,519 dwelling units with the capacity to support a total residential population of 98,935 people.
The scope of work includes the validation and detailing of the masterplan, roads design, traffic impact study along with full utility designs for storm water, potable water, foul sewer, and irrigation.
杏吧论坛 is also responsible for the full-design of electrical power cables, street lighting, a telecommunication network and a conceptual bridge design.
